1. Natural waist. This is NOT your child's trouser size! For most, this is the indent at the side just above the navel. This measurement should be fairly snug.
2. Hips. Measure the widest part of your child's hips. This can be loosely done over clothing.
3. Length of the kilt. Measure your child from natural waist to the top of the knee-cap. Keep their back straight and ensure they don't look down. Add 2.5 cm (1") to this result.
Additional Measurements: Height and Weight. This is needed to double check other measurements, in case your child deviates far from the average.
