PhotobucketOU HAVE REACHED KELTOI GAELIC CLOTHING, home of premium Highland and Irish regalia. Inside you will find the many products I offer for sale: traditional hand-sewn kilts and a wide range of complimenting accessories.

The kilt is many things to different people. To some, it is representative of family, ancestral homeland, or the strong military traditions of the Highland regiments. To others, it is simply a very comfortable and balanced garment to wear. A well-made kilt is a wonder to behold; warm in winter, yet cool in summer, it offers the greatest freedom of movement of perhaps any article of male attire. Such garments often become treasured heirlooms and provide future generations with a tangible link to their past. The unique pattern of intersecting lines and blocks known as tartan is both aesthetically appealing and culturally important to many.

I hope you enjoy my site and will consider me as your first source for Highland regalia and other Gaelic clothing.

About Me

Though I operate under a company name, Keltoi is really a company of one. Each kilt, plaid, skirt, flashes, or wrap is hand-made by me alone. The accessories I do not make are supplied by excellent companies and individuals whom I am sure take equal pride in their work. I have carefully selected these items for both quality and value. I own many of these products and can attest to their workmanship.

Kilt-making is a labour of love that allows me to give something back to my heritage. Having said that, labour does mean job and this is my occupation. It is not a hobby business. This is what I do for a living to support my family.

I have a deep interest in all things Celtic and take great pride in my craft. I would never make something that I would not wear myself. Whether you are merely interested in a kilt or are inquiring about the progress of an order, feel free to contact me. I check my email (john@gaelicclothing.com) twice daily, so a response to your query will certainly be within that time frame. Indeed, during the process of making a kilt, I prefer to keep you, the customer, as well-informed as possible.

I thank you again for your interest and sincerely hope to do business with you in the future.

Sláinte,

- John Hart
